The 12 Most Anticipated Cookbooks Of 2022

There's no time like the present to preorder.

cookbooks 2022

A new year means so many new things to look forward to. Of course, here at Delish, we like to mark this fresh start by pondering all the cooking skills, recipes, and projects we're so eager to master in the year to come. Nothing helps inspire those ideas like a cookbook.

2021 brought us so many amazing options. We had Cooking At Home, which taught us how to stop worrying about recipes. There was Black Food, which dove into the Black foodways in the U.S. and beyond. We also got Joshua Weissman's debut cookbook, An Unapologetic Cookbook, and how could we forget The Korean Vegan, a Tiktok fave.

Yes, 2021 was a great year for the home chef to expand their cookbook collection. But we recommend you make some room on your shelves, or maybe buy a new bookcase, because 2022 is going to have just as many amazing new cookbooks. For those looking to get into the plant-based world, or people dying to learn how to cook with a wok, and folks who want cooking at home to be simple, easy, and delicious, there's a cookbook in the new year for you.

Currently, all of these books are available for preorder, so we recommend doing that. Once the book is released, you'll receive a surprise package at your door that you probably forgot about, and you'll be able to start cooking right away! Of course, if you'd prefer to wait until they are released, we also listed the months they will come out, so you know when you check back and hit that *add to cart* button.

Without further ado, here are the 2022 cookbooks that we can't wait to get our hands on.
